Zubin Mehta is the conductor and soprano Shirley Verrett the soloist in a New York Philharmonic concert from New York's Lincoln Center. Verrett sings the impassioned "Liebes-tod" from Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde" and Mozart's motet "Exsultate, jubilate." Mehta leads the orchestra in Stravinsky's "Le Sacre du printemps," the Overture to Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" and the Prelude to Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde."
