Block 14: Larry BUTCH Baccioletti Come Dine with Me Canada : Season 4 Episode 70

Larry Boccioletti, better known as Butch, is the final host of the week. Butch, the old timer of the group, wants to show that experience counts for a lot, although he does admit that he has been nervous about hosting all week. He realizes that he has at least one person to bring onto his side to win, as he and Marie have been at odds with each other since the beginning. He may not realize that the other three also see him as a grumpy, boring old man. Butch's menu consists of bacon and onion quiche as the appetizer, chicken cordon bleu as the main course, and crème de menthe parfait as the dessert. He issues a barbershop dress code of red and white. Butch uses an old fashioned and labor intensive method to make his ice cream for the dessert. In reading the menu, his guests see the entire meal as being old fashioned. His guests are amazed that Butch rivals Minesh in the big boy toy department, albeit in a more old school way. What Butch brings to the dinner table at the beginning of the meal does support the adage that size does count. What he brings out near the end of the meal shows the rest what his passion in life is. The clearing the air session near the end of the party ends up being cathartic for some. Butch will find out if experience will trump the week as he announces the winner of the $1,000.
